Rustreconverter LT does not need to be “scuffed” between coates. Unless used in underwater or very humidity conditions we find it lasts well without an overcoat, but applying 2 or 3 coates of Rustreconverter instead. Industrial users have repeatedly pointed out that this is “Commercial Grade Paint”. It does stick to still sound galvanising , i.e. on an only partially rusted boat trailer.
