Wax CPC’S are designed to prevent rust/oxidation, not interrupt it. Actually, they can create problems by covering up the abuse, allowing it to grow underneath. Furthermore, we have found moisture can penetrate through the wax and allow rust to form. Wax products are also extremely high in VOC.
